Built with precision, balance, durability, and deep respect for martial traditions, each training weapon is crafted using solid methods and high quality materials. These weapons are made to withstand intensive contact training and are equally suited for forms, drills, sparring, and all types of martial practice. They are not mass produced replicas, but personalized creations designed for real training and martial development. Every detail is carefully adapted to the practitioner’s individual needs.
• Historical proportions and functional balance are respected on all models.
• Swords and sabers feature blades and handles sculpted from a single piece, with cross laminated guards and pommels for optimal resistance to intensive contact training. Tapered blades and internal metal weighting provide realistic balance and handling characteristics.
• Staffs and spear shafts are made using a precise progressive cutting technique with carefully selected grain for optimal straightness and durability.
• All weapons and racks are finished with three coats of natural oil sealer, resistant to impacts, easy to maintain, and free of harmful surface chemicals.
• A wide variety of custom options is available on most models, including custom length and weight at no additional cost.

David Santösh Jean, the craftsman behind Santösh Weapons, is guided by authenticity and dedication. Working as a professional woodworker and metalworker for over 25 years, he gradually applied his craftsmanship to the making of high quality training weapons after beginning Chinese martial arts as a personal practice over a decade ago.
What started as local custom work progressively evolved into a full time workshop shipping handcrafted training weapons worldwide.
