October promotion: We pay the taxes for all Canadians!
At Santösh Weapons, we love America!
Unfortunately, American customers must know that due to the ongoing economic conflict between the Trump administration and Canada, all wooden training weapons in our catalog are currently subject to a 60% U.S. import tariff (10% base tariff on most international imports + 50% on Canadian goods), as they are included in the targeted "Sports equipment" category. We sincerely hope that an agreement between our two governments will be reached soon (or an intervention of the US Supreme Court like last year) and that these tariffs will be lifted. That said, you still have the advantage at exchange rate (1 CAD = 0.72 USD) and if you still want to order despite the tariffs, know that we offer a very reliable and tested shipping method that prepays the tariffs at shipping so that the customer don't have any additional brokerage fee at delivery in the US.
That said, we are launching a new line of metal weapons that still enter the United States at a lower tariff of 12.7%. Metal weapons will gradually enter the catalog in November but right now you can ask a quote for a custom metal weapon of your choice. For now, you can also order a spear shaft with a metal spear head on at low tariff.
